"Mom, I need to tell you the truth about something," my 6-year-old son said to me this morning. "A while ago I climbed up and sate some of the gingerbread house."
That house has been on the shelf above our entryway since we finished decorating it 2 weeks before Christmas.
Apparently he climbed onto the counter, stood on my red mixer, and scaled the corner where the wall and cabinet meet. Then he had to crawl across the shelf to reach the candy house.
I just don't have the words! 😢😒
And I'm still trying to decide if I really want to know that he climbed all the way up there...
